Hold on I need to find my
chi, ok I think I can start. Today
our “funny” video was based on the sub-culture of ultra spirituality also known
is my friend is more spiritual than yours.
The video touched upon a few issues, America’s adaptation of the “I” in
spirituality, the different types of terminology being used to describe one
main ideology that is practiced globally, material aesthetics being portrayed
as spiritual practice oh and my favorite YOGA!
For the next 4 1/2 months this blog will be the product of Curric 675: Games, Culture, & Power, after that we shall see what happens ;) The public is welcome to post, however comments will be monitored (mostly for spam). Guest posts in line with the curriculum (even tangentially) are also welcome. Past year’s posts are from AN302: Subcultures in the Digital Age and AN150: Multicultural America.

No Country for Old Gods
It is arguable whether modern day
pagans keep old traditions alive, or if they are borrowing concepts and figures
from old religions and breathing life into them for the sake of a new kind of
spirituality. The real question is if those old gods really care about the who,
the how, and the why.

All Paths Are Walked Alone
The path that the spiritual side of my life has taken me upon has been long and winding and full of cul-de-sacs and blind alleys. I hesitate to call myself a "pagan" but I cannot say that it is an inaccurate label.
